Utah Court Reporters Association is dedicated to supporting and promoting the court reporting and CART-captioning professions in Utah. We are volunteers committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and excellence in the industry. We support our members with official testing and certification, news and information, legislative advocacy, and providing public and professional education.

Utah’s Court Reporters are an integral part of our judicial system. They play an important role not only in judicial proceedings, but at every meeting where the spoken word must be preserved as a written transcript. Court Reporters are responsible for ensuring a complete, accurate, and secure legal record.
CART Captioners are responsible for providing high quality equal access to the hearing impaired.
